Welcome to our web site and catalogue. Historic Seams is a sutler of historical apparel and accoutrements to the historical Reenactor community.
Our mission is to provide you with garments and supplies to enrich your living history experience. Many of the items you see here are handmade by Historic Seams. As a colonial sutler, we search our back yard here in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania and the entire world for historically accurate crafts that we believe will be of value to you. Because Valley Forge and Philadelphia are within minutes from our location, our focus is mid 18th century to early 19th century clothing for both men and women, civilian or military. However, we are not limited to that time period. We enjoy the learning that comes with researching any time period. We will gladly work with you to help meet your needs. We hope you enjoy your visit with us and we welcome any comments or questions you may have.
