These are a pair of American Revolutionary period hip pads. They are made to be worn on either side of the hip to give you the look of pocket panniers. They are made of 100% cotton muslin fabric and stuffed with fiber fill. They also have adjustable ties on either side. We are not sure that these are historically accurate, but they are very popular with reenactors.
