Historic Seams provides historic military uniforms and accoutrements, as well as civilian clothing and accessories to the living history and reenacting community.   

Many of the items you will see here are handmade by Historic Seams. Living history and reenacting is our hobby as well as our business.  We participate in 18th and 19th century living history events and are members of The Brigade of The American Revolution.

We have been in the clothing business for over 18 years, and we make our clothing right here in the U.S.A. and work very hard to maintain the highest level of quality and workmanship.

We search our backyard here in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, as well as the world, for living history and reenacting items.  We will do our best to provide you with as much information as possible about our products so you can make an informed decision with regard to authenticity and what will satisfy your intended use.  We understand that period clothing was not mass-produced. This allows for some interpretation with regard to color and style, so if you should have any questions regarding an item, please contact us we will be happy to help.  We can also handle custom orders for 1 to 100, so if you belong to a group we may be able to help.
